Team San Manuel?s James Stewart and Kyle Regal Postpone Entry Into Motocross Series Indefinitely
After a few weeks of preparation for the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Series opener in Rancho Cordova, CA, Team San Manuel’s James Stewart and company have decided to indefinitely postpone their entry into the race series. “Everyone witnessed the way I struggled during the Supercross series this year and while I’d like to race this weekend, we just aren’t ready,” Stewart said. “I hope fans will understand. The decision has been very hard to make, but we won’t race till we’re ready.” The Team will continue to evaluate the remainder of the 2011 schedule before any decision is made regarding what events they will participate in.

Hangtown has improved every year, and this year was no different. The track was changed up a bit, and provided all riders with quite a challenge as most of the AMA riders make the transition from indoors (Supercross) to outdoors (MX). There are two classes in AMA professional motocross: the 250cc Lites class, and the "Motocross" class, which can run engine sizes from 251cc to 500cc. Most riders race 450cc machines, with KTM also having a 350cc machine.

In the video below, Kevin Windham talks about the Superbowl Champions, the NFL's New Orleans Saints, his family, his future plans for racing and beyond. The Superbowl XLIV champions, the New Orleans Saints, have many fans - among them is none other than the number 14 in Supercross, Kevin Windham. While the NFL season started when Supercross was in its off season, Kevin was able to take part in season tickets to his favorite NFL team - da' Saints. Eventually the 2010 Supercross season got underway in January, which meant Kevin was flying off after those Saturday night Main Events back East to watch the New Orleans Saints Playoff games. On February 7, 2010 the New Orleans Saints headed to the Superbowl in Miami, Florida and Kevin Windham and his wife Dottie made arrangements to attend this momentous occasion. First, however Kevin had to finish up a Supercross race in San Diego the night before. I felt very privileged to be invited to such an event. I soon came to realize that the most unique and moving part of the day was seeing the look of real happiness, the feeling of true honor, and the comraderie for each person involved, as 'The Team' came together for the first time.
